Cost Considerations

Your website is an investment in your business, and we're here to make professional, modern sites accessible to any learning centre.

Total cost estimate for most sites without add-ons:
R4,500 once-off + R90/year for a domain and ~R1,500/year for hosting

Domains and Web Hosting

With every website, there are two unavoidable fixed costs: Domains and Web Hosting.

Your Domain: A domain is simply a unique name that identifies a website on the internet. Cost is annual and ranges from R90/year for a South African-focused ".co.za" domain, to around a couple hundred Rands per year for a more worldwide-focused ".com" domain. If you don't already have a domain, we can help you find one that's right for you.

Web Hosting: Hosting is essentially rented space for all your website's "bits and pieces" to be stored and made available for people to view on the internet. Hosting can vary widely in pricing, but for most use-cases be prepared to pay between R1,500 (for most learning centre websites) and R3,000 (higher-traffic websites) per year.

Design and development costs

Typically, the most costly part of your website investment will be to have it designed and developed for the web. The sad thing is, even though a lot of money may be paid to web designers and developers, the results are many times mediocre at best. For truly great results, the cost increases exponentially.

The templates on offer here are priced at R4,500 each, which is literally a fraction of what it would cost to have a website built from scratch. Furthermore, you will be able to request changes to the design - colours, fonts, images, information and more - in order to tweak the design to look like your very own, presenting an outstanding and unique value proposition to all learning centres.

  • Change text and imagery

    This one's a no-brainer: give us the text and imagery you want, and swap out what's already on the page with your own unique content.

  • Add in your direct contact details

    Want clients to be able to email you straight from the site? WhatsApp you? Phone you? We can add it all.

  • Swap the order of items on the page

    Want to have your testimonials closer to the top of the page? Just ask! We can change the order of the design completely around to suit your needs.

  • Add up to 2 additional sections not currently in the design

    Want to add a gallery? No problem. How about a pricing section? Absolutely. Let us know what's missing and we'll add it in.

    For clarity, a section is a chunk of related content on a page (like this "What is included" section you're on right now!). The section before this one is "Cost considerations", and the section after it is the call to action section ("Go from zero to professional website within a week.").

  • Change colours

    Add your brand colours into the mix or ask us to help you choose some!

  • Add your own documents, brochures, etc

    If you've got informational documents you'd like potential clients to see, we can add links connected to those docs to make them easily accessible!

These features add cost but bring worthwhile benefits, depending on your unique needs.

  • Additional pages

    Build out additional pages for SEO purposes or give your customers a dedicated place to find specific info, etc.

  • Memberships/
    Gated Content

    Encourage signups and offer exclusive content to paying members by hiding valuable content behind membership .

  • Ecommerce/
    Online Payments

    More complex to set up, but worthwhile if you have premium content to market.

  • Online Communities

    These will likely come in the form of a third-party like Circle or Mighty Networks. These solutions come with a hefty monthly or annual cost, but depending on your needs and budget, they can be just what you need.

  • Training

    Would you like to be able to manage the site yourself and take care of minor changes without relying on outside help? 30 minutes of training can be provided which will give you enough of a foundation to be able to change, text imagery and links in order for you to keep your site fresh, on your terms.

  • Post-launch Maintenance / Site Upgrades

    Your site is designed to grow with you. If you'd like help in doing that, we provide the following maintenance packages.
